That's right party peoples, no parking baby, no parking on the
dancefloor. That's what this shit is all about and fuck the hokey
pokey. On some pure shit. The central focus is music and dancing. If
you're on the dance floor you must be dancing. We will have dance
police and your ass will get ticketed. Get down or make room.

Why is it that most of the time we want to simply want to dance we
have to go to a club, deal with wack ass door policy, spend dough on
overpriced drinks, and on top of that mofos are standing around on the
floor while yer trying to move and/or worse grabbing your ass or some
shit. Fuck that.

Well this party is about changing that. Basically its about
decontructing all the things that have been put in the way of purely
enjoying music and dancing, and also challenging the concept of what
kind of music is danceable.

We're not trying to sting you for mad dough, indeed if yer broke as a
joke but want to dance we'd love to have ya. But of course if you can
donate that helps keep everything going.

We're trying to have a dance party that caters to folks who can't stay
up all night. We're not trying to ram drinks down your throat, or
really at all. We will have a smoothie expert from the Wonderland
space, Love Girl, who will assist you in making some wholesome drinks.
Whatever unwholesomeness you want to add to that is on your accord.
BYOF(ruit) etc is recommended, if you have some to spare for others
that's always nice.

Basically we do not have any kind of dogma or judgment. Do what feels
comfortable to you and be respectful to those around ya, that's
basically all we ask.

Broken Victrola & Zebbler Encanti Experience
New Media Curious Experimental Sound Performance

AXIOM is excited to host Broken Victrola and Zebbler Encanti Experience for another New Media Curious Experimental Performance.

Broken Victrola is an experimental performance of audio/visual collaboration between guitarist Brian Knoth (Brown University, Providence, RI) and A/V sampler Ed Guild (Psylab, Boston, MA). The music and visuals range from Eno-like abstract ambient soundscapes to minimal techno influenced compositions through an exploration of microcosmic visuals of the world.
To hear some of their work please go to http://www.myspace.com/brokenvictrola

Zebbler Encanti Experience is a union of two artists (Zebbler & Encanti) who produce live audio-visual performances. Zebbler Encanti often collaborates closely with the venue to create event and location related HD performances, which could range from conceptual/abstract musical reflections on the world to performances that would inspire a party environment. Zebbler is a visual artist, originally from Belarus, Europe, currently based in Boston, MA. The duo performs their work in custom HD resolution, projecting live video across three screens and process the audio live in 4.1 surround.
