May 1st: No Tomorrow - Singularity |
With every passing day our culture continues to accelerate towards a great unknown. An unprecedented level of interconnectivity has fundamentally altered the ways in which we experience reality, society and even ourselves. Moore's Law shows us that our technology continues to develop at exponential rates to provide us with the whole sum of human knowledge and all the tools to forge its future.
Yet having everything at our fingertips was not without its struggles as we tried to find our purpose in this push-button self cleaning world. What is a man if not for the sweat on his brow? What are we if our world can run itself? We wrestled with these questions for sometime until a brave few basement dwelling pioneers found a way forward. As we free ourselves from the shackles of physical labor we must realign our priorities to accomplish our new life's work, looking at pictures of cats on the internet. Welcome to THE SINGULARITY
No Tomorrow returns after a wild night last month to bring you the official after party of ROFLcon 2010.
